Furniture warranty
The one (1) year limited warranty extends to fixed or loose furniture, whether installed or not, under the following conditions and restrictions.
Limited Warranty - Inclusions and Restrictions.
This warranty is exclusively extended to the original purchaser of the furniture and to the original place of installation or delivery.
If any component, element, or piece of furniture delivered by Fabricarte exhibits manufacturing defects during this period, the component, element, or furniture will be restored or repaired as appropriate. Fabricarte will not cover manufacturing costs, labor, raw materials, installation, or any other costs associated with misuse or buyer responsibility.
This warranty is limited to specific items provided under the purchase contract and excludes any costs related to the removal or repair of non-associated elements, such as plumbing, electricity, flooring, electrical equipment, among others.
Hardware.
In the event that any hardware, such as hinges, rails, handles, among others, needs to be replaced, the first option will be to replace it with an identical one. If the same product is not available, Fabricarte will replace it with a similar and compatible piece.
Replaced parts are covered by the initial warranty for the remaining applicable warranty period.
Quartz, Corian, Marble, and Other Stone Tops and Plates.
For surfaces or plates of quartz, granite, marble, Corian, and others, this warranty applies only to those permanently installed for indoor use and not moved from their original installation. In replacement situations, the color may vary slightly, and color and vein accuracy are not guaranteed.
LED Lighting
The LED lighting installed in the furniture, as well as transformers and connectors, does not withstand the voltage variations that frequently occur in the national power grid. These voltage variations can be climatic or technical, falls, or voltage surges. Therefore, the warranty on these LED lighting components is valid for thirty (30) days.
This warranty only covers failures caused by proven defects in material and workmanship.
Fabricarte reserves the right to examine the product to determine the cause of the failure and usage patterns.

Furniture care and Maintenance Manual
This manual is intended for property managers, final clients and users of millwork items sold by Fabricarte. All furniture should be placed in areas where they are not exposed to high temperatures, high humidity levels, and direct sunlight.
Recomendations
Wood
Wood used by Fabricarte undergo anti-pest treatment before processing and are dried in kilns, with a final moisture content between 12% and 14%.
Wood furniture is sensitive to high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. Any of these elements can cause movement, expansion, contraction, and/or cracks in the wood that are not covered by our warranty.
Drastic temperature changes can cause movements in the wood that may warp, crack, or shift the furniture.
It is recommended to monitor temperature and humidity throughout the year, aiming to keep them constant and stable. The wood used for your furniture has been kiln-dried for 21 days. However, it is a material that absorbs moisture from the environment, expanding when humidity levels rise and contracting when humidity decreases. Use a dehumidifier when humidity levels are very high.
If wood furniture is exposed to excessive water or water splashes, it will incur irreversible damages not covered by our warranty.
Cleaning recommendations:
With a dry cloth, preferably microfiber, free of solid particles, to remove excess dust.
With a damp cloth, only with water, to remove dirt or spills.
With a damp cloth and mild liquid soap (preferably hand soap), to clean oily or excessively dirty surfaces.
Strong detergents for cleaning furniture or widely sold oil-based substances should not be used.
Melamine
Melamine or particle board is a product designed for indoor use.
To clean it, it is recommended to use a damp, soft, non-abrasive cloth, without applying any cleaning or shining product. Apply the damp cloth to dirty surfaces and immediately follow with a dry cloth.
Sponges, degreasing products, or multi-purpose cleaning products should not be used, nor should the surface be left wet.
Moisture Resistant Melamine reduces the effects of moisture on the material, allowing it to resist thickening due to atmospheric moisture absorption, but it is not immune. Cleaning this material should be done in the same way as standard melamine. However, it should be noted that with constant exposure to moisture or liquids—resulting from leaks, spills, among other things—the thickening of melamine may be irreversible.
High-Pressure Laminate
High-pressure laminates, commonly known as Formica or HPL, are decorative laminates used to cover composite or wood surfaces.
For daily cleaning, it is recommended to use a clean, soft cloth dampened with a mixture of water and mild liquid detergent. Be sure to completely remove the detergent from the surface when finished.
Extreme heat from appliances or hot pans/pots can damage the laminate. Avoid placing hot items on this surface.
The use of abrasive, bleach, or highly acidic products can deteriorate or discolor the surface.
In case of spills, clean the liquid immediately to prevent the surface covering the laminate from being affected in density, causing thickening and separating laminate joints.
Fabrics
1. Vinyls
Vinyl fabrics are easy to disinfect, resistant to temperature changes, and easy to clean.
Clean with a clean, damp cloth, gently rubbing to remove dirt or stains.
For tougher stains, a mild soap with low pH should be used and applied in the same way, with water.
Polishers or oil-based products should not be used.
2. Sunbrella Fabric
Brush to remove all dirt.
Prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild soap.
Use a soft-bristle brush to clean.
Allow the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues.
Let it air dry.

3. Aquaclean Fabric
Aquaclean technology is an advanced protective treatment for upholstery that allows stains to be cleaned simply by using a little water, making maintenance easy and quick
Recommendations:
Remove any excess residue on the upholstery.
Apply water over the stain, either directly or using a damp cloth. Wait a few seconds.
Press down over the stain with a damp cloth and rub gently over the fabric in circular movements. If the stain does not come off completely, repeat the process as required.

Quartz
For periodic maintenance, clean the surface with dish soap with a pH of 5 to 9 and a non-scratch Scotch-Brite sponge.
To clean grease, tomato sauce, coffee, wine, and/or lemon stains, clean the surface with neutral pH dish soap and a non-scratch Scotch-Brite sponge. Remove dirt and excess soap with a clean, damp cloth with hot water. It is important to clean immediately and not let the soap dry on the material.
For intense grease or dirt stains, clean with a degreaser, let it act for 3 minutes, remove with a clean, dry cloth, and finally clean with a clean, damp cloth with hot water.
To clean paint, oil, silicone, markers, enamel, or dye stains, try to remove the stain with a clean cloth moistened with pure thinner or acetone. It is important to clean immediately and not wait for the soap to dry on the material.
To remove rust stains, surface metal scratches, or pen ink scratches, use special products provided by the Caesarstone distributor in Costa Rica, Dekora.
Precautions for the Use of Quartz Surfaces
In case surfaces are exposed to potentially harmful substances, they should be immediately rinsed with water to neutralize the effect.
Avoid allowing dirt to remain on surfaces for prolonged periods.
The cleaning products recommended here should not be allowed to act on the surface for more than 5 minutes.
Avoid direct sunlight on quartz surfaces, as it may cause gradual and moderate changes in color.
Avoid placing quartz in temperatures exceeding 200 degrees.
Corian
This material is easy to clean, and periodic maintenance should be done to remove grease and dirt with a damp cloth, using Spray + Foam Cleaner (BKF), and allowing it to dry.
Clean with a non-scratch Scotch-Brite sponge and a dish soap cleaner, such as Axion in cream or liquid, rubbing gently, and then removing with a clean, damp cloth.
Repeat as necessary.
Marble
For periodic maintenance, clean the surface with dish soap with a pH of 5 to 9 and a non-scratch Scotch-Brite sponge.
It is important to clean immediately and not wait for the product to dry on the material.
Precautions for the use of marble surfaces
Avoid the following chemicals: alkaline substances (acetone, caustic soda, etc.); pure ammonia or ammonia-based detergents; solvents in general (especially solvents for nails or paints containing trichloroethylene and methylene chloride); bleaches, oily soaps, ink, and permanent markers; abrasive and micro-abrasive creams or powders; particularly aggressive detergents such as oven cleaners; wax polishers or products containing wax, which could cause a loss of gloss on the surface.
If surfaces are exposed to potentially harmful products, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.
Avoid letting dirt stay on surfaces for extended periods.
The recommended cleaning products should not be allowed to act on the surface for more than 5 minutes, and they should not be used on joints as these products remove the resin, and their replacement is not covered by the warranty.
Avoid direct sunlight on marble surfaces, which can cause gradual changes in tone.
Avoid placing marble at a temperature higher than 200 degrees.
Under no circumstances should the surface of the pieces be rubbed with metal spatulas, wire or fiber sponges, or sandpaper, as this can cause scratching on the surface.
Acrylic
Transparent acrylics can easily stain with the use of abrasive materials and leave them with a whitish look.
Clean with a soft cloth, which can be microfiber or cotton, and water.
If the dirt to be removed is significant, you can add a little non-abrasive and mild detergent, such as baby or hand shampoo.
Avoid using sponges as they will scratch the surface.
Avoid the use of window cleaning products and any solvent.
If the surface has minor scratches, try applying a little car wax, using the same polishing technique, until excess wax is removed.
Stainless Steel
This material can be in contact with water. However, the use of distilled water or filtered pure water is recommended because tap water can leave stains on the surfaces. Stainless steel elements should be cleaned after being in contact with water; otherwise, it will leave stains that are not covered by the warranty.
It is recommended to use 3M's Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish with a soft microfiber cloth.
This material should not be in contact with abrasive products, solvents, greases, or oils, or any chloride.
Do not use sponges, brushes, or spatulas as they will scratch the surface.
Do not use chlorine or products containing chlorine.
Tempered Glass
Even though tempered glass is a hard material, it can be scratched or broken. To preserve the integrity and properties of the glass, it should be cleaned frequently to remove surface dirt and prevent the appearance of stains.
Use a sponge or a soft damp cloth.
Use a specialized glass cleaning product and follow the product's instructions carefully.
Do not use an abrasive material, such as a brush or metallic scrubber, or papers to clean the surfaces.
For best results, it is recommended to clean the glass while it is in the shade. Avoid doing it in direct sunlight or with hot glass.
Avoid cleaning products and other materials from coming into contact with the edges of the glass.
Avoid strong and/or continuous impacts, especially in the area of the edges or corners of the glass, as this is the area of least resistance.
Avoid leaning on the glass, as its bending resistance is limited by the type of installation.
Avoid cleaning products containing abrasives or products containing ammonia, bleaches, acids, waxes, alcohol or solvents, or petroleum derivatives. Do not allow cleaning products to settle or be absorbed into the surfaces.
Do not expose the glass to incompatible glaze lubricants, enamel soaps, incompatible enamel joints, enamel sealants, incompatible cleaning products, direct contact with paints, glues, solvents, or exposure to solvents or chemical fumes.
Do not expose the glass to stagnant water, sewage, or any other chemical liquid.
